Where Persana Came From
Persana grew out of a shared frustration. For years, the practitioners who founded this practice had watched organisations in Singapore adopt HR technology — including AI tools — without the underlying data or process clarity to make those tools work. The results were predictable: dashboards that no one trusted, AI features that were ignored, and HR teams no better positioned than before.
We started Persana to fill a different kind of gap — not another platform, not another generic consulting framework, but a small practice focused on the foundational questions: What is your HR data actually telling you? Where could AI genuinely help, and where would it introduce more problems than it solves?
Our engagements are deliberately bounded, clearly scoped, and delivered in plain language. We work with HR and leadership teams in Singapore — from mid-size local organisations to regional subsidiaries of multinationals — and we are honest about what each organisation can realistically achieve from their current starting point.

Wei-Lin Tan
Founder & Principal
With over 15 years in HR analytics across Singapore and Southeast Asia, Wei-Lin founded Persana to bring more thoughtful, human-centred AI practice to regional organisations. Previously Head of People Analytics at a major Singapore financial institution.
Priya Nair
Head of Data Practice
A data practitioner with deep experience in HR systems architecture and workforce modelling, Priya leads the analytical work across Persana's client engagements. She brings particular expertise in HR data quality frameworks and assessment methodology.
James Ong
HR Practice Lead
James brings 12 years of HR operations experience across financial services and technology firms in Singapore. He grounds Persana's analytical work in practical organisational realities and leads the recruitment process review engagements.

Professional Confidentiality
All client data and engagement details are treated with strict confidentiality. We do not share client information with third parties, reference client engagements publicly without explicit consent, or retain sensitive data beyond the scope of the engagement.
Independent Assessment
Our recommendations are formed independently of any technology vendor relationships. We do not receive referral fees or commissions for recommending specific HR technology tools, platforms, or AI services.
Singapore Employment Law Awareness
Our recruitment and HR process work is informed by current MOM guidelines, the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices, and relevant data protection obligations under the PDPA.
Clear Scope and Deliverables
Every engagement is governed by a clear scope document before work begins. This defines what is included, what is not, what the deliverables are, and what the timeline looks like — so there are no surprises.
Honest Communication
We tell clients when the data is insufficient, when the question being asked is not answerable with the available information, or when a proposed approach carries risks that need to be understood before proceeding.
Data Handling Standards
We handle all client data in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Data sharing arrangements, storage, and disposal are agreed in writing before any data transfer takes place.
